Star Wars Hotel Location

The exact location of the Star Wars hotel at Walt Disney World has been a mystery up until this week. The company has now announced that it’s “under development” just east of World Drive, on the south side of Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park.

Where will the Star Wars hotel be located at Walt Disney World? The company now says it’s “under development” just east of World Drive, on the south side of Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park.

A brand new post on the official Disney Parks Blog states that “This location will allow the experience to be seamlessly connected to the highly-anticipated Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, enabling guests to fully immerse themselves in the story of “Star Wars.”

The hotel project was announced last summer, and the park’s Galaxy’s Edge area is scheduled to open in the late fall of 2019.

Many hotel-related topics remain under wraps, including its name, opening date and room rates.

However, Disney has revealed that every cabin will have a view of space, that guests dressing up as characters is to be encouraged and that it will be an overall immersive experience. Previous posts have used the word “luxury” to describe the resort.

“It’s unlike anything that exists today.” said Bob Chapek, chairman of Walt Disney Parks & Resorts, while announcing the project in July. “It is 100 percent immersive, and the story will touch every single minute of your day, and it will culminate in a unique journey for every person who visits.”
