Water Parks

Orlando offers a superb collection of waterparks - perfect for cooling off on a scorching hot Florida day! All the major area theme park companies (Disney, Universal & SeaWorld) offer some fantastic ways to get wet - most are stand alone parks with separate admission required. Others like LEGOLAND require an upgrade fee on the day to move over to the water park area to finish your day.

Seaworld’s Aquatica Orlando Water Park

Aquatica Orlando is a whimsical, one-of-a-kind water park only the clever folks at SeaWorld could create – a fab combo of up-close animal encounters, flowing waters from serene to extreme, high-speed thrills and wide, sandy beaches.

Disney’s Blizzard Beach Orlando Water Park

Only Disney could take a somewhat bizarre concept and make it work this well! Blizzard Beach is billed as a rapidly melting ski resort where chair lifts and ski jumps have been put to unusual use.

Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Orlando Water Park

The back story to Typhoon Lagoon is the tale of a huge storm and a ship stranded high on a mountain by a giant wave – who knew!  This 56 acre tropical tanning zone is blessed with a big 4 foot surf wave that runs the entire length of a huge lagoon every few minutes.

Universal’s Volcano Bay Orlando Water Park

At this all-new water theme park, thrills and relaxation flow in perfect harmony. Here, the TapuTapu™ wearable lets you hold your place in the ride lines and reveal wondrous surprises with just a wave of your wrist. It’s a tropical paradise just steps away from everything Universal Orlando Resort™ has to offer.

Legoland’s Orlando Water Park

The LEGOLAND Florida Water Park is a great way to end the day at the LEGOLAND theme park – there’s LOTS of kid-friendly rides and slides and a great wave pool!  (A modest upgrade fee per person is required on top of general admission – time your day so you are the first in the main park, then mid-afternoon when the Florida sun is cranking at full power you can call time and head over for some nice cool H2O)
