They were instrumental in bringing attention to the actual headwaters of the Florida Everglades which are right here in central Florida. Guests can experience this exciting eco-tour just minutes from the world famous attractions – no lines, no parking charges and thrills galore. Not to mention a close up look at the real Florida and some of the ancient cultures that predated Mickey Mouse by a few hundred years!

For 22 years, over a million visitors have journeyed from across the world to enjoy a front seat view of authentic Florida from the safety of airboats guided by US Coast Guard Certified Master Captains. Now, in partnership with Osceola County, visitors have even more ways to immerse themselves with a look into natural Florida. Guests can expect a warm welcome by local staff and are encouraged to explore the park along brick pathways winding across a lush lawn hugging the shores of Lake Tohopekaliga. Towering Chickee Huts cover genuine artefacts and hand-made creations of Little Big Mountain and his wife Laura, as they are immersed in the daily workings of the Native American Village. Deeply rooted appreciation for Native American heritage is brought to life by the Big Mountain family for guests through the traditional stories and techniques of their culture that once thrived in Central Florida.

The night time one hour tour takes guests on a quest to find the red glowing eyes of the alligators as they come out to feed. Tours offered include ½ hour daytime, 1-hour daytime, 1-hour sunset and a 1 hour night tour.
Learn to drive an airboat! This is a one of a kind experience that you can only do at Romp in the Swamp! Being a passenger in an airboat is a thrilling adventure, and now Boggy Creek Airboat Rides has taken it to the next level with a dually controlled boat, allowing you to be captain! You will learn airboating from the most qualified and experienced airboat captains in the world. After training on the controls and you get the feel of driving, the captain puts you in control to navigate and fly over the water. NO prior airboating experience is required!
The VIP package is an hour-long and includes you in the captain’s seat, a t-shirt, photo of you driving as well as space for two additional guests to come along as spectators. This tour is available as an upgrade locally.
