Orlando Attractions Update – He’s done it! What a way to officially open Orlando’s newest attraction! This morning Famous daredevil Nik Wallenda walked around 30 meters on the spinning Orlando Eye, a 400-foot-tall observation wheel in Florida that officially opens May 4th. High humidity meant the wheel was a little slick underfoot but special slippers handmade by his mother solved that problem. The Wallenda’s have been living life ‘on the wire’ for 200 years now so it definitely runs in the family – it didn’t appear to phase him at all from what we could see on the TV! Wearing a body cam for full effect the LIVE pictures were broadcast around the globe – we can only wonder what’s next!
