November is all about being thankful, and one thing we’re grateful for is food and fun with family and friends in our favorite place! Our calendar is stocked full of events that will have you feeling thankful for your time on I-Drive. Here are the November happenings on I-Drive in 2020.
Orlando Improv
On November 6th through the 8th, one of the most original stand-up comics in the country is set to take the stage here in Orlando. Michael Blackson, AKA ‘The African King of Comedy’ leaves audiences laughing in tears as he has performed across the country and around the globe over the last decade and some.
The following weekend, November 13th through the 15th, Chicago-native, Aries Spears, will be bringing his quick wit, charisma, and ferociously aggressive style of comedy to the stage – the same characteristics that have earned him critical acclaim, high accolades, and of course, a busy schedule. We’re ecstatic to welcome him to Orlando and are sure he will be putting on a show that you won’t want to miss.
Then, mark your calendar for November 20th or 21st, because comedy legend, an entertainment mogul, Rickey Smiley is bringing his humor to the heart of Orlando! Over his 30 years in the industry, he has earned a name for himself as a television host, actor, and top-rated nationally syndicated radio personality- all of which have made millions laugh and earned him a title as one of the entertainment industry’s most celebrated performers! Some really great November happenings on I-Drive.
Enjoy a much needed night out for a delicious meal, cold drinks, and non-stop belly laughs at Orlando Improv this month.
An Inside look at SeaWorld Orlando
The SeaWorld experience immerses guests in the mysteries of the sea, through close-up animal discoveries, amazing attractions, and unforgettable performances, and now you have a chance to get a look from a different perspective than ever before… behind the scenes!
November 7th through the 15th, SeaWorld Orlando is giving guests a firsthand look at what goes into providing world-class animal care, from none other than the experts who actually do it every day. This special event features six unique, entirely behind-the-scenes locations.

Gods & Monsters 5th Anniversary Celebration! (And VAULT 5421’s 3 Year Anniversary)
5 years of bringing the ultimate cosplay parties and collectible comics to International Drive is definitely a reason to celebrate, and as is to be expected, Gods & Monsters has put together an unforgettable celebration for its guests to enjoy in honor of the occasion.
On November 14th from 11 am to 12 am come out and support local art vendors and enjoy 15% off storewide, plus 40% off all back issues, for an event that comic lovers of all ages can enjoy!
Then, for all the grownup gods and monsters, return to VAULT 5421 from 4 pm to 12 am for a party true to the nature of Gods & Monsters. Enjoy themed drink specials, cosplay bartenders, cage-dancing performances, and even say ‘bottoms up’ with a free shot when you make your first bar purchase if you come dressed up in your favorite cosplay. Oh, and did we mention 15% off your drinks all night long? You’re definitely going to want to dust off that cosplay costume for this one!
Take a swim with the sharks at Discovery Cove
Discovery Cove’s limited-time Shark Swim Program is back through the remainder of the year, and with limited capacity for this exclusive experience, we recommend making reservations to get your jaws around this incredible experience sooner than later.
Take your learning about several species of sharks to a new level as you suit up and swim alongside them in the Grand Reef. You’ll not only gain a better understanding of the uniqueness of each species of shark during this event but also how they are cared for at Discovery Cove. Enjoy your deep water snorkel alongside your new finned friends, from blacktip reef, nurse, zebra, and bonnethead sharks, to the topical fish who call the Grand Reef home.
This is the perfect way to enjoy a day of fun in paradise, and Discovery Cove donates five percent of the proceeds to the Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation, which conducts scientific research and hosts educational programs aimed at conserving the marine environment – so get the details and dive in!
