New Tron Coaster Taking Shape

Brand new detailed aerial images of the theme parks show plenty of progress on the highly anticipated new Tron Coaster taking shape at Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park. Super sleuth Don Gworek, who runs the Twitter account @bioreconstruct makes a habit of going up in helicopters with some decent camera equipment and showing up the biggest new attractions coming to the USA’s most popular theme parks.

His latest collection of images that he shared with the Orlando Sentinel paint a more detailed picture for us of the new Tron ride going up next to Space Mountain in Tomorrowland.

One shot noted where the load and unload section of the roller coaster will be and that an outside portion will extend toward the Tomorrowland Speedway.

According to the newspaper, Gworek takes dozens of trips each year and has said he likes to share interesting things he stumbles into. “What I enjoy most is helping out the real bloggers and real media tell stories. It’s hard for people to be everywhere at the same time and sometimes I can help fill in missing pieces,” he said.

The last set of photos posted on July 5 and 6 showed shots of Disney, but also the new water park at Margaritaville, plus expansion progress at area resorts including Gaylord Palms, Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, and JW Marriott Bonnet Creek.
