Local Gathering Spots to Visit During Biketoberfest

Biketoberfest is a popular, four-day rally that attracts motorcycle enthusiasts to the Daytona Beach area with beautiful Florida weather, live music, the industry’s top vendors, bike shows, motorcycle racing at Daytona International Speedway, and miles of scenic rides along famous A1A, historic Main Street and the Ormond Beach Scenic Loop.

If you want to be where the bikes are, you’ll want to make sure to hit these hot spots during the festival:

Daytona International Speedway and ONE DAYTONA

Daytona International Speedway will be buzzing with activity. On the track, guests can watch the thrilling two-wheel, on-track action. When not watching the action on the track, fans are encouraged to check out Motorcycle Marketplace, located in the Midway outside the front stretch.

The Motorcycle Marketplace provides a one-stop shopping destination with everything from the nation’s top motorcycle parts to Hot Leathers and Harley Davidson fashion, apparel, accessories, aftermarket vendors, and a bike show. Admission is FREE to Motorcycle Marketplace.

Across the street at the ONE DAYTONA shopping and entertainment center, you’ll find the Official Biketoberfest® Welcome Center presented by GEICO. Along with information about the area, the Welcome Center will be handing out free posters, pins, poker chips, and helmet stickers to visitors.

U.S. Highway 1, Ormond Beach

Bruce Rossmeyer’s Destination Daytona, located on U.S. 1 in Ormond Beach, is one of the major hubs of Biketoberfest® with a 109,000+-square-foot showroom featuring new and used Harley-Davidson motorcycles as well as accessories. This huge complex offers a wide selection of food, vendors, and live entertainment and is home to J&P Cycles, Giant Recreation World, Destination 4 x 4, Daytona Cycle Audio, The Ultimate Seats, Divine Leather, Daytona Official Gear, and more.

Just down the road from Destination Daytona on U.S. 1, motorcycle enthusiasts will discover several iconic watering holes including the Broken Spoke and the world-famous Iron Horse Saloon. With plenty of parking available, bikers will find an array of options for food and drink and live entertainment in a casual atmosphere.

Ormond Beach Scenic Loop

If you’re looking to explore the coastline during Biktoberfest, the Ormond Beach Scenic Loop ride is part of a 30+ mile double loop known for its lush canopies of live oaks and scenic ocean, river, and marsh views. Be on the lookout for photographers capturing your picture as you cruise through the Old Florida landscape. Among the notable roadside attractions and amenities that you’ll find along the way are several oceanfront parks, including the Birthplace of Speed Park and North Peninsula State Park, Highbridge Park, Bulow Creek State Park, and the Fairchild Oak, and Tomoka State Park and Tomoka Outpost.

Main Street

Daytona Beach’s legendary Main Street, located on the city’s beachside, is the historic epicenter of the event. The iconic destination is a must-do when you visit during the festival.

Whether it’s enjoying live entertainment at venues such as Full Moon Saloon, Bank & Blues Club, Main Street Station, and Dirty Harry’s Pub, to the delicious dining and shopping options, Main Street is the place to see and be seen for visiting bike enthusiasts.

Midtown, Daytona Beach

The bikes will be roaring in Midtown, situated in the heart of Daytona Beach. Midtown offers a wide array of food selections with southern-style seafood and barbecue being among the favorites. In addition to the flavorful dining scene, bikers will discover plenty of vendors and music to enjoy.

Downtown Daytona Beach

In Downtown Daytona Beach, motorcycle enthusiasts will find Indian Motorcycle and BMW Motorcycle of Daytona Beach as well as breweries and a wide selection of great dining spots to choose from.

Visitors will also want to check out the recently opened north end of the Riverfront Esplanade where they can visit the Veterans Memorial and the newly installed bronze statue of Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune.
