You could say that Orlando Science Center has Christmas holiday fun down to a science! The Winter Science Spectacular features Dinos In Lights and some ‘extremely cool’ fun holiday activities like ice cream making workshops, a live liquid nitrogen show, & winter-themed experiments.
Dinos In Lights
Add a bit of sparkle to your Christmas and see some of your favorite creatures from the Cretaceous in a whole new light. Join Stan the terrificly entertaining T-Rex and his fossil friends in DinoDigs as they show off their tenacious talents in a festive display of music and light. This show is included in general admission and can be seen 30 minutes between 11:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. daily through January 6th2019.
Winter Science Month
All December long OSC is celebrating the holidays with science! Partake in special winter-themed activities like Gingerbread Engineering Workshops, holiday experiments, gift-making activities in The Hive: A Makerspace, not forgetting the Cool Science liquid nitrogen shows!
New Years Eve
Celebrate New Year’s Eve with your whole family at OSCs ‘Noon Year’s Eve’celebration on December 31 where there will be a countdown to the ball drop at precisely 12 noon!Make sure you check out the Science Live! Schedule before you arrive for a list of that day’s special activites.

*On select days Catch a Holiday-Themed Laser Light Show in the Dr. Phillips CineDome, chuckle at your favorite Ice Age characters in Ice Age: A Mammoth Christmas, and join Olaf and Elsa for a Frozen Sing-A-Long All these presentations included in general admission!

Last Call For Traveling Exhibits
If you still haven’t seen our fall traveling exhibits Zoo In You, Human Plus and The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards then this month is literally your last chance as these exhibits will be leaving OSC the first week of January.
At Zoo In You you’ll explore the millions of microorganisms that work every day to keep you happy and healthy. While at Human Plus you’ll hear true-life stories from engineers and the people they’ve helped through designing tools to enrich their lives. Maybe try to monoski down the slopes or DJ from a wheel chair!
At The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards you may well laugh like a hyena at 41 high-resolution pictures that capture animal expressions and some very comical coincidences.
