Our next stop on the ultimate Spring Break trip is Kelly Park, which is most widely known for being a natural water park, where visitors can tube down the narrow, rushing channel of Rock Springs. If you’re looking to stay dry without missing out on the fun, you can experience the best this wildlife preserve and bird sanctuary has to offer as you walk the Kelly Loop Trail, a path that shows off the park’s stunning features.
ADMIRE THE VIEW ON THE SANFORD ART WALK
On the third Saturday of every month from 6–9 p.m., the Historic Sanford Welcome Center invites the public on a walking tour of the top art venues in charming Downtown Sanford. With live music setting the soundtrack for the evening, you can see special art pieces created by artists far and wide and close to home. If you’re looking to take a souvenir home, these art pieces will also be available for purchase during and after the event.
STOP BY THE CENTRAL FLORIDA ZOO & BOTANICAL GARDENS
Home to over 350 animals and more than 100 different species, the Central Florida Zoo will excite every traveler in your group! You may even learn something new as you see animals you know and discover a few you don’t. If you’re looking to stop and smell the roses on your vacation, you’ll also want to check out the Botanical Gardens. This curated space features some of the gorgeous flora that gave our state its name.
