Gatorland®, “The Alligator Capital of the World™,” has announced its exclusive partnership with Crooked Can Brewing Company Winter Garden, to launch its very own Grinnin’ Gator Lager served at it’s trendy new Guzzin’ Gator Beverage Barn. Crooked Can is one of the most popular local craft breweries in Central Florida,
A relaxing respite inside Gatorland, with perfect views of zipliners and rock climbers, Guzzlin’ Gator offers guests more than 25 different Florida, domestic and international beers, ciders, seltzers, canned cocktails, wine on tap and non-alcoholic beverages. The specialty venue features bar seating, comfortable picnic table-style seating and a “to go” area for those wishing to enjoy a beverage as they stroll.
“Crooked Can Brewing Company was the perfect choice for our Grinnin’ Gator lager,” said Mark McHugh, Gatorland President and CEO. “We wanted to stay local and work with a family-owned business, just like us. Our new Grinnin’ Gator craft beer is a good combination of an easy drinking lager style that is fun and playful, just like we are right here at Gatorland.”
The new Grinnin’ Gator craft beer is a Pale German lager brewed in the true manner of a Munich-style Helles with Pilsen Malt. Award-winning for its doughy malt flavor and soft hop bitterness, it’s a beer meant for quenching thirsts in the Florida sun and sharing among friends.
According to McHugh, Gatorland’s new beverage barn concept was intended to fill a niche that was aligned with guest feedback the park was receiving to expand beverage offerings. “Guzzllin’ Gator was imagined as a relaxing spot to enjoy a cold beverage on a hot day and as a place to meet up with the rest of the family or rest of the group during the day,” he added.
“What happens when you mix hometown brews with world-famous gators? You get something worth grinnin’ about,” exclaimed Paul Bishop, General Manager of Crooked Can Brewing Company.
“Together we are pouring the spirit of Florida in our Grinnin’ Gator beer, and we can’t wait for Gatorland’s guests to take a bite out of this exciting collaboration.”
Gatorland’s Guzzlin’ Gator Beverage Barn is open daily from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The main gift shop at the front of the park will also carry Guzzlin’ Gator Merchandise.
