There have been additions and some shifting around of wax figures at Madame Tussauds Orlando, the International Drive attraction that opened last year.
New to the location is a representation of Brazilian soccer great Neymar Jr. The player has a room to himself (and a soccer net). It’s the space formerly occupied by temporarily visiting figures such as the Beatles and the British royal family. Neymar Jr. plays professionally for Spanish club Barcelona FC, but his figure is outfitted in the kit of his national team.
The music room of Madame Tussauds Orlando is now home to figures of New Zealander Lorde and English singers-songwriters Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith. They are joined by Ross Lynch, who was already installed at Tussauds, in front of a video screen.
Visitors can also see actor Jackie Chan in the room that figures John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John in “Grease” mode, Audrey Hepburn in a “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” pose and Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen of “The Hunger Games” series.
Madame Tussauds Orlando regularly brings in new figures for temporary stints and loans out some to other Tussauds museums. The Orlando attraction is next to the Coca-Cola Orlando Eye, and both are operated by Merlin Entertainments Group.
