Its massive, it’s magnificent! The Walt Disney World Resort covers over 47 square miles. With a Walt Disney World Base ticket you can explore up to 4 major theme parks, Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park.

Date based tickets require you to select a start date, number of admissions required, and the type of ticket you need. Single day theme park base tickets also require you to select the park you are going to visit. Based on the choices selected an expiry date will be generated when the ticket will expire in full. The number of admissions purchased must be used from your start date to the expiry date. Unused admissions will be forfeited.

Please note: Date based tickets will be issued as an official Disney voucher which is presented at Guest Relations at the first park you visit or Disney Springs. All Disney vouchers have a unique reference that allows you to link your tickets to My Disney Experience. Disney vouchers can also be linked to existing Magic Bands and you can utilise the Magic Mobile feature within the app which allows you to use your phone as your ticket. If you choose to use this feature then no exchange at the parks is required.

The four ticket types available are as follows:

1. One Park Per Day Base Ticket: Enjoy admission to one theme park per day for each day of your ticket. You can pick a different park each day from either Magic Kingdom® Park, Epcot®, Disney’s Hollywood Studios®, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park. This ticket only allows you to visit one park per day (i.e. no park hopping). Single day Base Tickets require you to select the park you are going to visit at time of booking. Ticket does not include admission to the water parks, Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course, Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex, Disney Winter Summerland or Fantasia Mini Golf, and NBA Experience.

2. Ticket with Park Hopper Option: With the Park Hopper option, you can visit multiple theme parks on the same day for each day of your ticket. You can visit your choice of Magic Kingdom® Park, Epcot®, Disney’s Hollywood Studios®, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park. Ticket does not include admission to the water parks, Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course, Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex, Disney Winter Summerland or Fantasia Mini Golf, and NBA Experience.

3. Base Ticket with Water Park and Sport Option: Only available on 2 day tickets upwards. With the Water Park and Sport option you will get the same number of additional fun visits as main park admissions. The Base element of the ticket allows admission to the 4 main parks for one park per day (i.e. no park hopping). For example, a 4 day ticket will allow 4 main park admission and 4 fun visits. Additional attractions to use your fun visits are listed below.

4. Ticket with Park Hopper Plus Option: Get all the benefits of the Park Hopper option, plus, you get a certain number of additional visits to other Walt Disney World attractions based on the length of your ticket. For example, a 4-day ticket allows 4 visits and a 5-day ticket allows 5 visits. Additional Fun visit attractions are listed below:

*Water Parks are subject to seasonal and weather closures. Only one water park will be shut for maintenance at any one time.

One round at Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course – greens fee only (tee time reservations are required and subject to availability)

One round of FootGolf at Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course - available every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday after 2:30pm, sunject to availability.

Disney’s Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course (Valid for one round. Round must start prior to 4:00 p.m. Only 1 Fun visit may be used at Disney’s Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course per day. If a Fun visit is used at Disney’s Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course, another Fun visit may not be used at Disney’s Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course on the same day.)

Disney’s Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course (Valid for one round. Round must start prior to 4:00 p.m. Only 1 Fun visit may be used at Disney’s Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course per day. If a Fun visit is used at Disney’s Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course, another Fun visit may not be used at Disney’s Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course on the same day.)

ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex (valid only on event days; some events require an additional admission charge.) Includes 30 minutes of play time at the PlayStation® Pavilion on days when the PlayStation® Pavilion is operating.

The extra admissions included on the Water Park and Sport and Park Hopper PLUS tickets are independent of the main theme park admissions. The extra admissions may be used on separate days from the main theme park days or on the same day. All admissions must be used by the expiry date of the ticket. Unused admissions will be forfeited.

Disney Genie is a complimentary and convenient new digital service designed to create your best Disney day. Built as a new digital service in the My Disney Experience app, Disney Genie service will maximize your park time, so you can have more fun. It includes a personalized itinerary feature that will quickly and seamlessly map out an entire day. From specific attractions, foodie experiences and entertainment, to general interests like Disney princesses, villains, Pixar, Star Wars, thrill rides and more—just tell Disney Genie what you want to do and it will do the planning for you.

Here are a few more features:

• Get Itinerary Updates from Morning to Night: Disney Genie will continue to update your itinerary throughout your day, so you can be more spontaneous and go with the flow.
• Find Your Favorites at a Glance: Create your very own personal tip board to instantly see your favorites. It will display current AND forecasted future wait times, helping you predict when you might experience quicker entry to attractions.
• Enjoy More Flexibility and Fun: Disney Genie brings existing planning features together in one place. Join a virtual queue at certain attractions, make dining and experience reservations, mobile order food at many locations, get help from a virtual assistant and more.

For even more convenience and flexibility, there are 2 other options for enjoying the theme parks, through a queue system called the Lightning Lane entrance that also saves you time in line:

• Disney Genie+ Service (Available for Purchase only through Disney Genie): Prices ranging from  $15 per day, per ticket at Walt Disney World Resort, choose the next available time to arrive at a variety of attractions and experiences using the Lightning Lane entrance. You can make one selection at a time, throughout the day—from classics like Haunted Mansion to thrill rides like Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and newer favorites like Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run (attractions subject to limited availability). This convenient option is the next evolution of the fan-favorite Disney MaxPass service from Disneyland Resort. Disney Genie+ will also include Disney parks-themed audio experiences and photo features to capture your memories—augmented reality lenses for those visiting Walt Disney World Resort. The option to purchase this additional feature is available from 7am on the day of park visit only through the Disney App.
• Individual Attraction Selections (Available for Purchase only through Disney Genie): Schedule a time to arrive at up to 2 highly demanded attractions each day using the Lightning Lane entrance—like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at Magic Kingdom park (subject to limited availability; attractions not included with Disney Genie+). Pricing for this option will vary by date, attraction and park and will be announced closer to launch. The option to purchase this additional feature is available from 7am on the day of park visit only through the Disney App.

Lightning Lane selections will be made on the same day of your visit and can be used across multiple theme parks, great for those who love the Park Hopper option. Attractions continue to offer a traditional standby queue, or a virtual queue at certain attractions like Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance—to maximize flexibility.

Changing Your Tickets

You can make changes to your tickets, including your ticket dates, prior to midnight Eastern Time of the day before your ticket’s first valid use date. Changes can only be made through the My Disney Experience system / app. There’s no change fee to modify, but an additional cost applies for dates with higher ticket prices. Any additional cost due to changes will be determined by Walt Disney World and payable directly. No refund or credit is given for changes from dates with higher prices to dates with lower prices.

Parking is not included.

PLEASE NOTE: Disney Date based tickets are only available as Will Call vouchers which need to be exchanged at Walt Disney World Guest Relations for physical tickets. You can also utilise the Magic Mobile feature within the app which allows you to use your phone as your ticket. If you choose to use this feature then no exchange at the parks is required.

Here are some answers to the most asked questions. If you can't find the answer here then you are welcome to speak to our sales team.

Q: Will I receive real tickets or vouchers?

A: Date based tickets will be issued as an official Disney voucher. These have a unique 12 digit code that you use to link to My Disney Experience. Within My Disney Experience is Magic Mobile. This feature allows you to simply use your phone to scan your tickets at the park entrance. Using this service means no exchange is required at Guest Services. Should you not wish to, or do not have a compatible device, you can still redeem your confirmation at Guest Services for tickets or connect to a Magic Band.

Q: Can I use my ticket to visit more than one park per day?

A: Depending on the ticket type you have selected. A 1 park per day base ticket does not allow you to visit more than one park per day. You can visit a park, leave, and return to the same park and this would be classed a 1 park in a day. To visit more than one park per day you will need either the Park Hopper or Park Hopper PLUS options.

Q: Can I use my ticket to visit a Disney Waterpark?

A: You can only visit a Disney Waterpark if you have selected the Water Park and Sports or Park Hopper PLUS option.

Q: Can you use the Disney Transportation System with this ticket?

A: Yes. You can use all of the Disney transport system to move around the resort.

Q: If I have to cancel my holiday, can I return my Disney tickets for a refund?

A: Unfortunately we cannot accept any Disney tickets back for a refund once they have been issued to you. We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers the value of attraction tickets.

Q: Does the ticket expire?

A: Yes. This is determined by the type of ticket purchased and the number of admissions. Once you have submitted these details confirmation of the expiry date will be displayed.
