It’s now only a matter of weeks until Universal Orlando debuts its latest ‘Harry Potter’ themed attraction featuring everybody’s favorite big guy Hagrid – the much much larger-than-life gamekeeper at Hogwarts Castle.
The all new roller coaster ” Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure” has visitors hopping astride Hagrid’s magical motorcycle and having several very close encounters with many of the fantastical creatures that reside in the forbidden forest. The ride is set to welcome its first riders June 13th 2019 at Universal Orlando Resort
The ride is supposed to have seven in-ride launches and a 17-foot free-fall vertical drop. It goes for nearly a mile and will include a 65-foot climb and a subsequent drop backward.

In the meantime as we all wait with baited breath Universal have shared a point-of-view ride on YouTube – just enough to keep us hanging!
Universal’s Blog proclaims that “Inside the ruins, you will see materials from Hagrid’s Care of Magical Creatures class, including dragon eggs on the verge of hatching and a makeshift nursery where he kept his Blast-Ended Skrewts in a terrarium before they outgrew the chamber,”. “There also will be a pre-show featuring digital projection technology and special effects, where you’ll encounter Arthur Weasley, Hagrid and his loyal dog, Fang.”
