If you’re planning on experiencing the Disney planned community of Celebration, while not do it while riding an eco-friendly Segway? Explore the villages and nature trails and discover native wildlife all while gliding along on this modern self-balancing marvel. You’ll fall in love with the surroundings and be amazed at the ease of gliding on a Segway! ZE Tours are the only approved and permitted tour for the Disney planned community of Celebration. While there are numerous options to choose from, the most popular by far seems to be the ‘hosted’ tours where an entertaining and informative tour guide takes you on a very enjoyable adventure anywhere from 70 minutes to an hour and a half duration.
Before or after your Segway experience you can enjoy one of the many dining establishments Celebration has to offer. A great pizza from The Upper Crust or maybe lunch or dinner at The Town Tavern, or the world famous Columbia resturant. If you simply want to relax and enjoy the Florida sun in Downtown Celebration you can rock the day away in one of the many rocking chairs at the side of the lake. You may even see one of the ZE guides on a Segway gliding around or teaching new folks just how easy it is to ride one of these amazing machines!
Here are some guidelines to consider before you book. Breaks are taken for photos but participants should be able to stand for 40 minutes at a time. Minimum weight for segway riders is 100 pounds and maximum weight is 250 pounds. Rider must be able to step up 8 inches unassisted and maintain balance and ALL riders must complete a safety training session prior to tour.
Segway suggests expectant moms refrain from participating. Tours may be canceled due to poor weather conditions so call ahead and check if it looks like rain. Insurance covers riders 16 and older. Riders under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Tours run daily 7 days per week between 11am and 5pm.
