Orlando Attractions Update – Visitors to the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World can expect boatloads of cheesy holiday-themed jokes and props that will transform the ever popular Jungle Cruise into the “Jingle Cruise”. The “Jingle Cruise” — the festive version of Magic Kingdom’s famous Jungle Cruise — is sailing again this holiday season. The ride itself is your same old Jungle Cruise, just with a few extra props and some gorillas dressed as Santa Claus. It’s once again themed as if the skippers are homesick for the holidays.The real addition here is the holiday-themed jokes the skippers crack while on board. Yes, they are corny, but just like the normal version, the jokes are what makes this attraction.
From saying the rivers are tough to navigate because of the “yuletide” or gasping in shock when they realize the pack of lions were having zebra for their holiday feast, the jokes bring some holiday cheer to a fan-favorite Disney attraction. Each boat is also renamed for the Jingle Cruise, from “Fruitcake Zelda” to “Sleigh Ride Sadie.” The Jingle Cruise runs daily at Magic Kingdom through the holiday season, including during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
