Orlando Attractions Update – Disney World has released a video of Epcot’s longtime acapella group, The Voices of Liberty, singing the omnipresent “Frozen” anthem “Let It Go.”
The a capella group, typically dressed in colonial garb, performs multiple times daily at the American Adventure at Epcot. Most of their songs are of the “Oh, Susanna” era, but they also perform modern classics such as “When You Wish Upon a Star” in their repertoire too.
This version of “Let It Go” isn’t completely unexpected then, given the huge popularity of the song. Disney says they have also recently added “You Raise Me Up,” “True Colors” and “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.” The lineup changes with every performance.
The Voices have been around since Epcot opened in 1982 – you have to look at the performance schedule to catch them inside EPCOT’s USA pavilion – definitely worth the effort. Great tunes and great air conditioning!
